Unveiled Faces

Whenever someone turns to the Lord,
the veil is taken away...
So all of us who have had
that veil removed can see and
reflect the glory of the Lord.
And the Lord—who is the Spirit—
makes us more and more like Him
as we are changed into His glorious image.
2 Cor 3:16-18
This passage of Scripture is startling in its promise.
The lifted veil allows us to both see and reflect
the glory of the Lord.
He invites us to be with Him,
not just in a general sense,
but as a dwelling place for His presence.
Wherever I am, He is.
And this presence changes us.
It is so that we can demonstrate
His life, His love, His Kingdom ways--
on earth as it is in heaven.
"Because as He is,
so also are we in this world.”
1 John 4:14-17
When I meditate of that Truth,
my mind is rocked by its magnitude.
I am a sinner,
saved by amazing grace.
Yet, You know me and
allow me to represent You in this world.
No matter what I am facing today,
I have the privilege of knowing You
and dwelling in Your presence.
Your love instructs me,
guides me and protects me all day long.
I pray that I would reflect
Your glorious image more accurately
that others may see You too.
It is my highest calling.
