Be Still My Soul

God is my Refuge and Strength,
mighty and impenetrable,
a very present and
well-proved help in trouble.
Therefore I will not fear--
though the earth is changing
and the mountains are shaking
and the waters are roaring...
Let be and be still
and know that I am God.
Psalm 46
There are times where God
hems you in on every side.
You know that the ground is moving
and the winds are swirling
 and the waters are raging.
And all you can do is say,
God, You are my refuge and my strength.
You are a very PRESENT help
in times of trouble.
I have been crying out to God
that I would know His presence
during this season of challenge.
All night long, I wake up
and all I can do is pray:
God, You are my refuge and my strength.
And I release the burdens on my heart
into His loving hands,
knowing He has a history of faithfulness.
He is only good, and true and faithful.
And He comes and says to me,
Let be.
Be still.
I am God.
God, I don't know what to do,
but I know that  my help comes from You.
I will let be and be still.
You are God and
You are good.
