He Already Knows

It is the Lord Who goes before you;
He will march with you;
He will not fail you or let you go;
let there be no flinching, but fear not,
neither become broken in spirit—
depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm.
Deut 31:8
All Scriptures are filled with the breath of God;
they give us strength so that we can fight against
being depressed, dismayed and unnerved with alarm.
I have been bombarded with situations and thoughts
that want me to agree with all of those.
The Lord gave me this weapon of faith this morning;
I am wrapping it around my mind like a shield.
I love how God will hunt me down
to give me help in times of need--
no matter how big or small those needs might be.
I read My Utmost for His Highest this morning as well.
Once again, the Lord was standing faithfully
to give me another weapon of faith.
Fill your mind with the thought that God is there.
And once your mind is truly filled with that thought,
when you experience difficulties it will be as easy
as breathing for you to remember,
“My heavenly Father knows all about this!”
God is my Father, He loves me,
and I will never think of anything that He will forget,
so why should I worry?
Oswald Chambers
Father, thank You that You know me
and know what I will face before I get there.
I am trusting that You will stand with me
and I will not be broken in spirit.
I fill my mind with the thought that You are here.
I think about those things that are true
and excellent and praiseworthy.
I can never face something
that You are not already aware of.
I will not flinch or fear.
You are good.

  1. Thank You, God, that you go before us...You prepare a place for us so that we may be where You are (John 14). Tomorrow may be unknown and unfamiliar territory, but You have already gone before and cleared the trail. Thank You, God!
