Deeper Levels of Trust

There are seasons where I feel like
I could write everyday about trust:

I will trust in him and not be afraid.
The LORD GOD is my strength and my song
Isaiah 12:2
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you!
Isaiah 26:3
Trust your lives to the God who created you,
for he will never fail you.
1 Peter 4:19

God just keeps saying to me,
"Deeper levels of trust, daughter.
I am taking you to the streams of my goodness.
Some of those streams are linked to
underground wells that are dark.
I am with you always,
leading you and working all things
together for good.
Continue to trust Me."
I do want to trust Him.
It just doesn't always feel like I am doing a good job.
Sometimes I get anxious and I toss around a bit.
The ship that is hooked to the anchor
isn't always completely still.
It may look a little rocky sometimes.
But the anchor is still there
and the ship isn't going far.
Lord, I want to honor you in whatever I do,
especially in times of testing.
I am trusting You although I bounce just a little.
You hold my heart and are working peace
into me in new ways.
Your love never fails.
And I know,
You will never let me go.
